Telehealth/Virtual appointments

I offer therapy virtually using a HIPAA compliant video-call platform. Some clients prefer to skip the commute to the office and participate in therapy from the comfort of their home or a private room at their place of work.  

In-office appointments

Some clients prefer the feel of being in-person and in a therapy office environment.  I offer therapy appointments at my welcoming and cozy office in St. Louis Park (near lake Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis, inside the Yoga Center Retreat). 

Walk-and-Talk therapy

Do you ever find it easier to talk to someone about hard things while you are walking side-by-side?  With walk-and-talk therapy, we meet at a public walking path and engage in the therapy session while walking.  There are many benefits of walk-and-talk therapy, including the mental health benefits of being in nature, the bilateral stimulation of alternating steps assists in processing, and the mental health benefits of exercise.  

Keep in mind that confidentiality is inherently limited in walk-and-talk therapy as, due to the nature of being in a public place, a person walking by could potentially hear parts of our conversation.  We take reasonable precautions to avoid this.
